Jiangsu World Plant-Protecting Machinery Co., Ltd, founded in 2002, is a subsidiary to Jiangsu World M&E. Covering an area of 120,000 ㎡ , we have some 150 sets of advanced equipment with a high quality technology and research team with 20 excellent technicians. After three years development, we have some 650 employees, among which more than 190 are on or above junior college degrees. Our main products include four series of lawn mowers covering eight types such as 33” self-propelled type, 22” self-propelled type, 18” push type, etc., engine turbo series, exercise equipment and furniture.

Relying on the advantage of large scale, World Group built up a joint venture—Jiangsu World Plant-Protecting Machinery Co., Ltd by cooperating with a foreign giant with a total investment of 16 million dollars in 2004, and set up its wholly-owned branches in USA and Australia , making World P&M be in line with the track of globalization.

At present we have some 40 fulltime and part-time professional engineers, among which Senior engineer Guochuan Qian served as general engineer and manager of technology and research department in a large engine manufacturer in China, project manager Chaojie Zhang was dean of Lab in KaiLian Group in Henan province, and General engineer Mr. Gao, a retired chief engineer of Shanghai Foundry Factory No.1, ranges among the list of “21 st Century Talents in China”. In addition, we have employed a number of professional engineers from relevant enterprises to serve as backbone technicians.

In July 2003, World implemented ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System, and its lawn mowers series gained the CE Certificate by EU and GS Certificate by Germany in October 2003, becoming the sole company with those certificates in the same trade in China. Meanwhile, 11 patent rights covering lawn mower series researched and developed by World won the Certificate of New and Practical Patent rewarded by State Bureau of Knowledge and Property Right, and the turbo series promoted by World also gained large market share.
